Moon's Appliances has been in business since the 1970's. It started as a small hardware store in downtown Mount Dora, and made a transition to selling appliances through the years. In 1990 the hardware part of the business was sold and Moon's devoted all of its interest to appliances.
Moon's Appliances is a family owned business and takes pride in the fact of doing business the "old fashioned way" by putting the customer first and having the customers deal with familiar faces.
Moon's is now planning to expand their business from the Tri-City area, and open a second location in The Villages.
